Posted as assistant superintendent of police at Mandoli Jail, Deepak Sharma is seen dancing to Bollywood song "Khalnayak hoon main' while brandishing his pistol in the video. The incident is said to have taken place at a birthday party for the spouse of a BJP corporator from Gonda. The 21-second video clip shows Sharma brandishing his service pistol openly in public. After the video surfaced, the Director General of Tihar Jail suspended Sharma pending an investigation.
