A seven-year-old boy tragically drowned in a pond formed by rainwater in Sector-20, Rohini, Delhi, on August 10. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM when a PCR call was made to the Aman Vihar police station, reporting the drowning of a child. The boy had wandered into the pond, which had formed in a park due to recent heavy rainfall. Local police swiftly responded to the call and rushed to the scene, but the child had already been taken to the hospital by then. Despite efforts to save him, doctors at the hospital declared him dead upon arrival. The boy was identified as a resident of Aman Vihar, Delhi. The child's body has been preserved at the hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the police have initiated the necessary legal procedures.
