A massive power outage hit many parts of Delhi on Tuesday, June 11. According to reports, electricity supply had been suspended in several parts of Delhi since around 2 pm. AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi acknowledged the issue and said a fire at a power grid in Uttar Pradesh led to power outage in Delhi. "The power restoration process has begun and electricity is now gradually returning to different areas," Atishi wrote on X. She said she will meet the central minister of power and the chairman of PGCIL to ensure such outage does not happen again. There is power outage in many parts of Delhi from 2:11pm. This is due to a fire at sub-station of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) in Mandola, UP. Delhi receives 1200 MW of power from the Mandola sub-station, and therefore many parts of Delhi have been affected.
