A CISF officer at Delhi's IGI Airport heroically saved a passenger's life on August 20 after the traveler suffered a cardiac arrest. The incident occurred around 10:50 AM in Terminal 2’s departure area, where Mr. Arshid Ayoub, en route to Srinagar on an Indigo flight, collapsed from severe chest pain. The CISF Quick Response Team promptly administered CPR, stabilising Ayoub before a Medanta Hospital doctor arrived and transported him for further treatment. He was later referred to Safdarjung Hospital for advanced care. Dr. Yashwant of Safdarjung Hospital praised the CISF personnel for their swift action, emphasising that the timely CPR was critical in saving the passenger’s life.
