Residents of Peeragarhi village in Delhi have been grappling with a severe water contamination issue for the past 15 days. Bright blue, foamy water has been flowing from their taps, raising significant concerns about the safety of the drinking and bathing water supplied by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). A video showing blue foamy water gushing out of a tap has surfaced on social media. The contamination is believed to be caused by improper disposal of industrial effluents from nearby chemical and denim factories. This has severely disrupted daily life in the village, with many households unable to use tap water for basic needs. As a result, residents have been forced to purchase water cans at additional costs. Delhi Rains: Rainfall Lashes Parts of National Capital, Brings Much-Needed Relief From Humidity (Watch Video).
