In a tragic incident, a 13-year-old boy died due to electrocution at a cricket ground in outer Delhi’s Ranhola area. The incident occurred around 1:30 PM when the boy, playing cricket at the Kotla Vihar Phase-2 ground, received an electric shock from an iron pole carrying a live wire to a Gaushala located in a corner of the ground. The boy was immediately rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital by a PCR van, but he was declared dead upon arrival. The police have registered an FIR under section 106(1) BNS and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
