In what is being termed as a major recovery of looted money, Delhi  police on Thursday, July 18 arrested twelve individuals, involved in a robbery of over Rs 3.5 crores in the Gulabi Bagh area in Delhi. The gang reportedly entered the office of a transport company, threatening employees with weapons before looting the safe. In a significant development, police apprehended the suspects within 48 hours of the crime. DCP North, Manoj Meena, stated, "We received information about the robbery on the intervening night of July 11-12, leading to the filing of an FIR. Teams were dispatched to nearby police stations". As per the latest update, authorities have recovered INR 1.25 crores of the stolen money and efforts are underway to seize the remaining amount.
