Uttar Pradesh is aiming for another year of Guinness World Record as the state plans to light 21 lakh diyas in Ayodhya on Diwali. Speaking about Ayodhya Deepotsav, Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh on Friday, said, "We will do a grand celebration this Diwali...We will break our own (Guinness Book of World) record this year and will light 21 lakh Diya." Singh also said that Ayodhya is a holy city and a centre of faith for the whole nation and followers of Sanatana culture. President Draupadi Murmu is likely to attend the Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya in November. The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh will aim for the sixth Guinness World Record by lighting 24 lakh earthen diyas on Deepotsav this year on November 11 on the 47 ghats of Ayodhya, including the Ram Ki Paidi.
