The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Sunday informed that 14 teams of NDRF have been deployed in West Bengal to assist in rescue and relief operations considering the landfall of cyclonic storm Remal. As per the IMD, Cyclone Remal will land today at midnight between Bangladesh and the adjoining West Bengal coasts. Approximately 15,000 civic employees in Kolkata have been mobilised to address post-cyclone scenarios.
