COVID-19 Surge in India: Supreme Court Brings Back Coronavirus Guidelines; Masks, Sanitisation Made Compulsory
Due to increasing COVID-19 cases, Supreme Court has mandated all to wear masks, maintain physical distance and continuously sanitize to prevent the spread of deadly coronavirus within court premises.
As COVID-19 cases are once again rising in many parts of the country, including Delhi, the Supreme Court has directed that preventive measures be undertaken within the court premises. "In a view of the reported increase in COVID cases in Delhi, the Competent Authority has directed that preventive measures including wearing of masks, frequent use of hand sanitizers, and maintaining physical distancing norms be observed in the Supreme Court of India," the order read.
