In response to the recent Old Rajinder Nagar incident, the Delhi Government’s Directorate of Education has issued comprehensive safety guidelines to all principals and heads of government, government-aided, and unaided private recognised schools. The directive mandates that basements in school buildings be used solely for permissible activities as outlined in the Master Plan and sanctioned plan.
