Four empty coaches of an Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) Chennai Suburban Train derailed near Avadi railway station early on Tuesday. No passengers were involved in the incident. However, traffic was affected on the busy route, resulting in delays to various services. The accident occurred while the train headed to the beach station from Ananur shed and arrived at Avadi.
