In response to a recent incident where a 5-year-old girl was bitten by two rottweilers in Chennai, the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Department has implemented a ban on 23 dog breeds, including Rottweiler, Pitbull Terrier, and American Bulldog. The banned breeds also include Tosa Inu, Fila Brasileiro, Kangal, Caucasian Shepherd, Mastiffs, Wolf Dogs, Akbash, Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Boesboel, Canario, among others.
