TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu was sworn-in as new Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister today, June 12. Chandrababu Naidu was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer at the swearing-in ceremony held at IT Park in Vijayawada. After taking oath, Naidu hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is Naidu’s fourth term as the Andhra Pradesh CM. The NDA, led by Naidu’s TDP, had registered a landslide victory in the recently concluded assembly elections. While the TDP bagged 135 out of the 175 assembly seats, its allies BJP and Janasena Party won eight and 16 seats respectively.
