A CCTV footage going viral on social media shows Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shivchandra Tejrao Tayade allegedly beating and slapping a woman inside a police station in Maharashtra's Buldhana. A journalist who shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) said that the incident occurred on April 21; however, a video of the same surfaced online today, August 8. The viral clip shows Tayade slapping a woman and later going on to slap a man too. It is reported that a family had come to the Malkapur Rural Police Station to file a case against Tayade over family disputes. It is alleged that the woman whom Tayade slapped was his sister-in-law.
