TP Singh, superintendent of the main post office branch of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly shot himself to death on August 20 at around 5 AM IST, moments after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) concluded their raid. The CBI raid lasted for around 10 hours in the post office Singh worked at and concerned a corruption case in which he was allegedly involved. In a suicide note recovered, TP Singh, who was apparently pressurised by employees in the corruption case, wrote, "Some employees were pressuring me to do wrong things, so I am committing suicide."
