Mumbai police heightened security at the wedding event of Anant Ambani, son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant at the Bandra-Kurla Complex on Saturday. This followed a suspicious post on X (formerly Twitter) mentioning a bomb threat. The post hinted at a bomb disrupting the event. Despite suspecting it to be a hoax, police intensified security around the Jio World Convention Centre, where numerous celebrities were present. Another police team launched an investigation to trace the poster. Police sources revealed that an X user tagged the Mumbai Police handle, alerting them to the threat. The Mumbai police web development center promptly informed senior officials and the control room. Security at the venue was increased as a precaution. No case has been registered, but the search for the unidentified user continues.
