The Mumbai Traffic Police on Thursday, August 8, issued an advisory in connection with increased vehicular movement in the BKC area due to the closure of Sion railway over-bridge (ROB) for demolition and rebuilding. In the traffic advisory, details about blocked roads and alternates routes have been provided. While announcing traffic restrictions, the police said: "Vehicular traffic on BKC roads coming from BKC Connector Bridge and MTNL Junction have increased significantly, resulting into traffic congestion in BKC area." Traffic management order will be in place from 8th August on a temporary basis.
