In a shocking incident at Telhara High School in Bihar’s Nalanda, a man shot the acting headmaster, Santosh Kumar, in the staff room on Wednesday morning. The attack occurred around 9:25 am, as CCTV footage showed the assailant, wearing a muffler and armed with a pistol, approaching Kumar, who was on the phone. The shooter fired at Kumar’s left leg before fleeing. Colleagues immediately rushed Kumar to Ekangarsarai Primary Health Center, where he is receiving treatment. Witnesses reported that the assailant had called out to Kumar from outside the school before entering and shooting him. The same individual had previously assaulted a student but was released due to a lack of complaints. Police have detained two suspects and believe four individuals may be involved. The investigation is ongoing, with initial assessments suggesting the attack aimed to spread fear.
