Bihar: Declared Dead, Man ‘Comes Back’ to Life 30 Minutes Later at Hospital (Watch Video)

A man "came back" to life 30 minutes after he was declared dead by the doctors in Bihar. Doctors described the scene as chaotic when the man, identified as Rakesh Kevat from the village of Jirain, sprang back to life. Witnesses initially thought they were witnessing a supernatural event until he shouted, “I am not dead; I am alive!”  Upon further examination, doctors found Rakesh in good health, leading to an inquiry into what had actually transpired. Rakesh explained that he had not fallen but had actually been sleeping in the bathroom after consuming alcohol. He had removed his sandals outside the door and could hear the cleaning staff knocking, but due to his intoxicated state, he was unable to respond. When the staff forced the door open, they mistakenly believed he had died.
