A Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) worker reportedly became unwell during a hunger strike protest in Bihar's Patna on Wednesday, October 4. The latter was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The strike is being held under the leadership of BJP MP Gopal Jee Thakur against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government in connection with the Darbhanga AIIMS controversy. Union Ministers Ashwini Choubey and Nishikant Dubey were also present at the protest site.
