In a harrowing incident, three women faced verbal abuse and threats from a Namma Yatri auto driver in Bengaluru. The incident, shared on Twitter by user Vanshita (@yourswriterly), occurred as the women were returning home late at night. According to Vanshita, the driver became aggressive when they called for security, demanding her phone and shouting loudly. Despite paying the fare and requesting him to leave, the driver continued to hurl abuses and threats. The women used the app's SOS feature and contacted the police, but received little immediate help. The driver, whose vehicle number is KA02AK0967, left only after Vanshita provided their address to the police. The incident has left the women feeling unsafe.
