Bengaluru's Begur police detained a man on Sunday for reportedly killing his live-in partner, 24, at their flat in the MICO Layout on Saturday night by hitting her with a pressure cooker on her head. According to the authorities, Vaishnav, a recent engineering graduate, murdered Devi out of suspicion of adultery. They both were from Kerala, had known one another for three years, and had been living together for two years. According to the police, the accused confessed that his irritation about the woman's increasing intimacy with another guy triggered the murder.
