The injured man, a victim of a self-skid accident, was eventually transported to the hospital in a private vehicle as the officers from the Traffic Police and Law and Order department debated whose vehicle should be used. The Bengaluru North Deputy Commissioner of Police has launched an inquiry into the conduct of the Hoysala staff involved. A statement from the DCP's office confirmed that traffic personnel attended the scene and called an ambulance, and that an FIR has been lodged.
