From Bengaluru in Karnataka, horrifying images of violence are emerging. A bandh was declared by the Karnataka State Private Vehicle Owner Association in the metro city today. In addition to opposing the Karnataka Congress administration, the private transporters are on strike. They are purportedly opposing the Shakti Scheme, which was implemented by the Karnataka Congress administration led by Siddaramaiah. In a shocking occurrence on the Anand Rao Circle flyover, a bike-taxi driver was viciously beaten by the crowd protesting at the bridge. On social media, the incident's footage is currently doing rounds wherein the mob can be seen bashing the driver. His bike was also crashed into divider by the mob. The rider was a Rapido bike-taxi app employee. As of yet, there have been no reports of arrests related to the incident.
