In a tragic incident in Karnataka, a 55-year-old woman allegedly died of electrocution on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The alleged incident is said to have taken place today, October 7, when the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) power cable reportedly snapped and fell on the woman. The deceased woman has been identified as Manjamma. It is reported that the incident occurred when Manjamma was standing on the side of the road. A few news reports also claimed that bystanders stood and watched as Manjamma was electrocuted to death.
