Rahul Gandhi’s comments on religious freedom, made during a recent visit to the US, have sparked protests from the Sikh community. Addressing an event in Virginia, Gandhi said, “The fight is about whether a Sikh will be allowed to wear a turban and go to the Gurudwara.” In response, protests erupted in Delhi, where BJP leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah made a controversial remark. During the protest, Marwah allegedly threatened Gandhi, saying, “You better behave, or you will meet the same fate as your grandmother.” This was a reference to Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984. The Congress party condemned the threat, sharing the video of Marwah’s statement on X (formerly Twitter) and demanding government action.
