In a hit-and-run incident in Chennai, Beeda Madhuri, daughter of YSR Congress MP Beeda Masthan Rao, allegedly drove a BMW car over a man on a footpath. The incident occurred when 33-year-old Madhuri was allegedly driving a luxury car and ran over the 24-year-old painter sleeping on the footpath in Besant Nagar. Reportedly, the painter had gotten drunk and fell asleep on the pavement. The incident, which was recorded in CCTV footage, led to the arrest of Madhuri, who was later granted bail in the case.
