In a breakthrough in the Ram Gopal Mishra murder case, two key accused, Sarfaraz and Talib, were injured in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force (STF) while attempting to flee to Nepal. The encounter occurred near the Handa Baseri canal in Nanpara, Bahraich. Both suspects were hospitalised for treatment. Sarfaraz is the son of Abdul Hameed, another key accused in the case. All five main suspects, including Hameed, have been arrested.
