The mothers of Shiv Kumar and Dharamraj, accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, spoke to PTI about their sons’ involvement. Shiv Kumar’s mother stated, “He worked in Pune and hadn’t come home since Holi. I last spoke to him 8-9 days ago and don’t know where he is now.” Dharamraj’s mother, in shock, said, “I had no idea about the incident. He left two months ago, and I learned about the case from the police. He was my youngest son.” Both families expressed confusion and sorrow, claiming they were unaware of their sons’ whereabouts and involvement in the case. Shiv Kumar and Dharamraj are accused of involvement in the fatal shooting of Baba Siddique, a prominent 66-year-old Mumbai political figure. Siddique was shot by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra and later died at Lilavati Hospital.
