Mumbai Police have taken two individuals into custody in connection with the shooting and killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The incident occurred in Bandra, where Siddique was shot at and critically injured. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The two suspects are currently being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation into the attack. According to Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, one accused is from Uttar Pradesh while the other one is from Haryana. Hunt is on for the third accused. Siddique was a former Maharashtra minister and a key figure in the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP.
