A daring ATM theft attempt at a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM in Dharur, Bheed district, Maharashtra, was captured on CCTV on Saturday. Robbers wearing raincoats were seen tying ropes around the ATM and attempting to pull it with their car. The bank staff discovered the theft and alerted authorities, leading to a high-speed chase covering 61 kilometers and lasting four hours. The police recovered the ATM and over Rs. 21 lakh in cash, but the robbers managed to escape. Dharur Police confirmed that four individuals were involved and are actively pursuing them.
