A fresh clash broke out at Lapangap village along the Assam-Meghalaya inter-State boundary as locals from both sides used bows and arrows and catapults to attack each other. The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 26. However, no injuries were reported and situation is under control now.
Clashes broke out between Karbi community members and Pnar farmers at the Assam-Meghalaya border in Lapangap village of the West Jaintia Hills District. Tension heightened as the villagers of the two communities attacked each other with bows, arrows and catapults on Tuesday, September 26. In a video released by PTI the villagers can be seen attacking each other at the inter-state border. However, no injuries were reported and situation is under control now.
