In another tragic hit-and-run in Maharashtra, Archana Kishore Shinde, 36, died after being struck by a speeding car in the Gangapur area of Nashik on Tuesday. CCTV footage shows Shinde being flung 15-20 metres after a white hatchback hit her from behind around 6 PM. Shinde was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries. The 51-year-old driver, found to be under the influence of alcohol, fled the scene but was later arrested by police. This incident follows a similar case in Mumbai's Worli area on Sunday, where a woman was killed after being dragged 1.5 km by a BMW. Mihir Shah, the son of a Shiv Sena politician, has been arrested in connection with that incident.
