Out of the 234 smuggled wild animals, a joey was discovered dead in a trolley bag inside a suitcase. Customs officials stated that the rare animal had died from suffocation while hidden in a plastic box. Among the other wild animals rescued are pythons, chameleons, iguanas, and turtles. The passenger has been booked under various sections, including the smuggling of wild animals.
