A horrific case of animal cruelty in Telangana's Rangareddy district has led to the arrest of a man accused of brutally killing a stray dog. The incident, reported by animal activist Mudavath Preethi, occurred in Aziz Nagar, where the accused tied a stray dog to an electric pole and beat it to death using metal wires. A disturbing video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The accused then tied the dog’s lifeless body to his bike, dragged it, and discarded it in a nearby field. The gruesome act was brought to the attention of Moinabad Police, who filed an FIR under Section 325 of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and Section 11 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
