An American woman, Brooklyn Carnley, traveled to Etawah to meet her friend Himanshu Yadav, whom she befriended while playing PUBG. After staying with him for nine days, they were heading to Delhi on a Roadways bus Thursday night when someone reported to the Etawah Regional Manager (RM) that the woman was being taken against her will. Following the RM's instructions, the bus driver took them directly to the Shikohabad police station. Brooklyn, a 30-year-old from Florida, arrived in India three months ago, initially staying with another friend in Chandigarh. She then traveled to Delhi to meet Himanshu, who works in a factory, and subsequently came to Etawah on May 5 to stay at his home. The duo was on their way back to Delhi on Thursday night when the complaint was made. Police, along with IB and LIU teams, questioned Brooklyn and Himanshu. SP Rural Kumar Ranvijay Singh stated that Brooklyn confirmed she had come willingly and wanted to travel to Chandigarh via Delhi with Himanshu. She refused to take any action against him.
