In a move to enhance travel convenience, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched international flight check-in facilities at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations on the Airport Express Line, effective since the first week of June. Partnering with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), Air India, and Vistara Airlines, DMRC has extended this service to cater to international passengers departing from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi. The initiative, initially available for domestic travellers, now includes "Check-in & Baggage-Drop" services for Air India and Vistara Airlines customers. Operational hours are from 6 AM to 9 PM for Air India at both stations and until 8 PM for Vistara Airlines at New Delhi station. Passengers can complete check-in between three to four hours before their international flight departure, utilising advanced automated baggage handling systems.
