At least five individuals were injured, two critically, when a 17-year-old boy lost control of a car he was attempting to park in the Venkatesh Nagar locality of Nagpur on Saturday afternoon. A video of the accident has surfaced on social media. The teenager, employed at a garage, was instructed by his employer to park the car. However, he mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the clutch, causing the vehicle to surge forward, according to officials. The car struck several parked vehicles and ran into three fruit-and-vegetable vendors and two bystanders. A case of rash driving has been registered under the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act, and the minor has been detained. An investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
