The incident occurred around 12 PM in a narrow lane of Islam Nagar, Kaila Bhatta Ward Number 93, and was captured on CCTV. The footage shows Elina standing with her sister as the truck slowly approached. Despite the truck's slow speed, the driver failed to notice the child and ran over her, leaving her in critical condition. A bystander rushed to rescue the girl, but the truck driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Elina was immediately rushed to Santosh Hospital for treatment.
