In a tragic incident, BJP leader Dheeraj Singh Dev’s six-year-old son, Swatantra Singhdev, was crushed to death by an SUV while playing outside his aunt’s house in Chhattisgarh’s Ambikapur on Tuesday night. CCTV footage captured the boy playing badminton before sitting on the roadside, when an XUV made a sharp turn and fatally ran over him. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the child succumbed to his injuries. Locals and the BJP leader’s brother-in-law, Abhishek Singh, caught and beat the driver before handing him over to the police.
