In a recent cyber-fraud case, criminals bypassed traditional methods like OTPs and phone calls in Bihar's Purnia after allegedly hacking into the Aadhar system. The cyber fraudsters reportedly exploited the victim’s Aadhaar biometrics obtained from government land records. The Bihar Police, in a press conference, revealed that the gang hacked into the government database to access the victim’s land documents dated June 25, 2024.
