Prime Video India has stirred controversy among fans of The Boys Season 4 by censoring explicit content for local audiences. In a series of tweets, one of the viewers expressed frustration over the random and inconsistent censorship. Notably, in the first episode of season four, Butcher’s typical mischievous move of sending a picture of a (his?) butthole was blurred out. Similarly, in the second episode, the highly anticipated and controversial human centipede sex scene was heavily altered. The viewer writes, ‘they’ve somehow CGI’d out all’. The inconsistency in what is blurred versus what is shown has led to mounting criticism, with fans arguing that such edits not only disrupt the show’s gritty essence but also push viewers towards piracy as a means to access the uncensored version. Fans are calling on Prime Video India to reconsider its approach and allow them to enjoy the series in its intended raw and unfiltered form. The Boys Season 4 Censored
And in what Should have been episode 2's much discussed outrageous human centipede sex scene, they've somehow CGI'd out all but one. But in the next scene they have no issue showing us ten naked men with their dicks out in a lengthy action scene? pic.twitter.com/KsxIELSOC7
