‘Dexter: Original Sin’ is set to debut in December 2024, while ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ is scheduled for a summer 2025 release. The original ‘Dexter’ aired on Showtime from 2006 to 2013, and was followed by ‘Dexter: New Blood’ in 2021, which picked up the story 10 years later.
Dexter: Original Sin explores Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he evolves from a student into an avenging serial killer, guided by his father Harry (Christian Slater). As Dexter starts a forensics internship at Miami Metro Police Department, he follows a strict Code to eliminate those who deserve it without attracting law enforcement’s attention. Michael C Hall, who returns as the iconic inner voice of Dexter, will not only narrate this prequel series but also star in the new sequel series, Dexter: Resurrection.
