Ryan Condal, the showrunner and co-creator of House of the Dragon, aka HOTD, confirmed during a press conference, that the popular Game of Thrones prequel will conclude with its fourth season. Ryan announced that the series will span two more seasons before wrapping up. He also revealed that the third season is currently being written, with preparations set to begin this fall and production slated to start in ‘earlyish 2025’. While he hasn't yet discussed the episode count for Season 3 with HBO, Ryan stated, “I haven’t had discussions with HBO about it.
