With episode eight of House of the Dragon, Paddy Considine played the role of Viserys Targaryen one final time. Penning a heartfelt note on Instagram and bidding goodbye to the character, Considine gave special thanks to Sian Brooke, who appeared briefly as Queen Aemma in HOTD, King Viserys' wife. Saying that she helped shape his character, he was honoured that Visery found him.
