On June 14, Dr Mehmet Oz, better known as Dr Oz from The Dr Oz Show, was on a flight from New York to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. During the flight, a passenger started having a medical emergency, going in and out of consciousness. About an hour into the trip, the flight attendants asked if there were any medical professionals on board to help. Dr Oz, who was on his way to a wedding, quickly stepped in to assist. A photo shared by TMZ shows him in the aisle, using a flashlight to examine the passenger, with flight attendants nearby.
