The makers of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 18 left fans shocked after they revealed that a donkey will be participating in the controversial reality show. 'Gadharaj' was announced as the 19th contestant of Bigg Boss 18 house. Several videos of contestants interacting with the donkey surfaced online. While this may seem normal, it isn't. A few days back, People for the Ethical Treatement of Animals (PETA) India had connected with this show's makers, requesting them to release the donkey. Along with them, an NGO called People for Animals (PFA), led by Politician and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi, also slammed the makers for 'animal abuse'. It has now been revealed that the donkey has been released from the Bigg Boss 18. Confirming the news on their official social media handle, PFA wrote, "We are pleased to inform you that Bigg Boss team has updated us with the news that they have released the donkey. The success is a direct result of the collective efforts of everyone who supported and joined the cause."
