Bhavya Gandhi, who used to essay the role of Tipendra Jethalal Gada aka Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah until four years ago lost his father, Vinod Gandhi, to Covid-19 on May 11. The actor confirmed the news of his father's death to indiaexpress.com.
Bhavya’s father had tested positive for the coronavirus a couple of weeks ago. He had been fighting for his life for over 10 days at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani hospital, and succumbed to death on Tuesday.
