Former Maharashtra minister and National Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was shot on Saturday evening (October 12) by three unidentified men in Bandra East, Mumbai. The senior politician was immediately rushed to the Lilivati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Baba Siddique, who had strong connections in Bollywood, was most popular for his Eid Iftar parties. Baba Siddique is also known for ending the bitter feud between Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. His tragic passing away has left the whole B-Town and also the television community in shock. Condolences have been pouring in from several celebs on social media, and now actress Mahi Vij, who shared a close bond with Baba Siddique, penned an emotional note on Instagram expressing her sorrow. Sharing pictures of her daughter Tara with Baba Siddique at one of his Iftar parties, the actress wrote, "We love you forever. Still can’t believe someone who protected all of us.
